In 2022, Transatlantic Love Affair made the decision to move to an ensemble-based, non-hierarchical model for their company structure.

Cristina Florencia Castro

Cristina Florencia Castro (she/her) is a playwright/performer/teaching artist from San Antonio, Texas who has been living and working in the Twin Cities theatre community since her graduation from the University of Minnesota/Guthrie Theater B.F.A. Actor Training Program in 2011. Cristina is currently pursuing her M.F.A in Creative Writing at Augsburg University.

Vinecia Coleman

Vinecia Coleman (she/her) is a Twin Cities based actor and playwright. As an actor, she has worked with the Oregon Shakespeare Festival, Pillsbury House Theatre, The Playwrights’ Center, Frank Theatre and more. Her own plays have been developed at the Oregon Shakespeare Festival’s Black Swan Lab, Seven Devils Playwrights’ Conference, Mad Cow Theatre, Live Girls! Theater, and several others. She holds a B.S. in Microbiology from Iowa State University and an M.F.A. in Theatre Arts from the University of Idaho. You can find her plays on New Play Exchange.

Derek Lee Miller

Derek Lee Miller (he/him) is an actor, puppeteer, designer, writer and musician. He earned his B.F.A. in acting and technical theatre at Millikin University in Decatur, IL. During his time there, he founded the Last Chance Theatre, an underground experimental black box space and was awarded the school’s McNabb Prize for Outstanding Contribution to Theater.  He has toured nationally as a puppeteer for Madcap Puppets in Cincinnati, OH and regionally as an actor/educator for Twin Cities companies National Theatre for Children and Teatro del Pueblo. The Yaddo Artists Colony in Saratoga Springs, NY awarded him two residencies for playwriting in 2006 and 2007.  Derek was voted Outstanding Male Performance of the 2011 Minnesota Fringe Festival for his role in Transatlantic Love Affair’s Red Resurrected and was also part of that group’s 2012 Ivey Award-winning play, Ballad of the Pale Fisherman. He is a founding member of Transatlantic Love Affair.

Adelin Phelps

Adelin Phelps (she/her) is a stage, film, and voice-over artist and has worked and created with Asolo Repertory Theatre, The Jungle Theater, The Guthrie Theater, The Playwright's Center, Yellow Tree Theater, History Theatre, Park Square Theatre, Girl Friday Productions, Carlyle Brown & Company, Theater Latte Da, Dark & Stormy Productions, and many more. Adelin received her B.A. in Theatre Arts from Coe College and studied with The Actors Workout, Guthrie Theater, from 2010-2018. She is a founding member of Transatlantic Love Affair.

Allison Vincent

Allison Vincent (she/her) is a Twin Cities-based performer, director, writer, deviser, and teacher. Allison is a proud alum of the University of Minnesota's B.A. Theater program, and teaches English at South High School. In addition to performing all around the Twin Cities, she is a core and founding member of Transatlantic Love Affair, a company member of Umbrella Collective, and a teaching artist at the Guthrie Theater. She is a founding member of Transatlantic Love Affair.
